Manual tilt to dual hydraulic tilt conversion for 96J D5 Caterpillar

How to add a Cat valve for the tilt is my question -or- what ever is the best route. Everything is typically worn manual angle, considering making this modification. Norm

Yair . . . It will be the best mod you ever did . . . cant help with the valveing but I have seen a cable D7 fitted with a 24volt power pack and ram. Cheers

A 96J should be hydraulic lift already. I think he just wants to add hydraulic tilt. Best bet is to go to a salvage yard to get the needed parts.

Good luck with that in AK! A close yard that may be able to assist is General Gear Boise ID. http://tractorparts.com/

Hey Thanks, great to get confirmation and locations. It adds to my momentum. My dad had a a D81H cable blade model it sure could've used a hydraulic tilt we would have been much more effective, thanks again.

There are other companies up and down the West coast, if General does not have they may be able to steer you.

I believe the tilt valve is in the left side of hdy. tank in front of the foot controls. The blade valve is on the right side
