i was able to get these numbers off the torque convertor today---c273-62---serial # 85b701---tag also says bower"s rebuilt... can anyone tell me a bit more about it? it has 3 pumps on the outside--would they be the charge pump,steering pump and loader lift/dump pump?
That convertor was used in a lot of Clark machines. C270 series refers to the HP range , 3 means that it has 13" internall members. You are correct about the pumps. Bowers did a lot of Clark transmission and convertor rebuilds, they were certified by Clark I believe.
