I use big stuff, and it still seems to take forever. I think I'd go crazy at that speed.... I thought my home projects were drug out, but 15 years?? Wow.
Pretty interesting. I agree with RTSmith though. Once you get tuned into moving dirt, anything smaller than the biggest machine you've ever run seems too small... (Moved the topic down here to the Models and Minatures section. It seems a better fit. Pun intended. )
