Gray market Mitsubishi 45 code 51 Joy sticks inoperable need help
Matt, Do you have an MX45? ... with code 51? Does anything work, like the tracks and blade? Use the front collision interference switch to disable the collision system. This will help you determine if the problem is in the collision section or the main control section. If it now works then the problem is in the front anti collision system...probably the potentiometers and most likely the wires routed to them. If the anti collision switch gains nothing then the problem may be in the micro switch and potentiometer adjustment in the joystick tower. In case the joystick sections seems to work ok then it may be in the computer. There are test points on the circuit board that are very handy and LED's that indicate system operation. In case you are not familiar with circuit boards then email me and I can help. If you are not a circuit guy then leave the board alone least you destroy the electro sensitive components.
