I saw a thread about most yards in a day, well how about for the screening and crushing guys, what is the most tons you have had in a shift? What were you crushing or screening? Recently we had 5,875 tons in an 8 hour shift, we had a pretty fresh pile, close to the plant.
The one quarry we own, that I've done some time in, can average 11,000 tons in a ten hour day through their primary crusher. At least when everything runs well. They have 4 775's haulin from any two of the 5 benches. Usually two trucks per 990 loading them. The rock is brown and grey granite aggregate.
