I was always curious as to how well those style pads work? i have seen them on machines before but they were all older so i guess they have been phased out
At the time, I didn't have any experience running a dozer and didn't know I was supposed to drain a pond before I filled it. Needless to say it was similar to quick sand. Those pyramid tracks rode on top of the mud and kept the dozer from getting stuck. They last forever and give great support in soft stuff....
How well do they push? Will they bite in and dig like a grouser pad or do they lose traction very easy?
It will spin if you put it against a big tree. Never noticed it slip with a full blade of dirt even in soft terrain.
