Trying to find a reputable source for factory service manuals for a Volvo EC140CL. We have a couple of sensor failures that we are trying to resolve 1.) Bucket Pressure - SE9124 - 03, and 2.) Swing Pressure - SE9126 - 03. The machine functions normally until operating temp, then no bucket pressure. In service mode those pressures appear "stuck", no fluctuations just a static reading. These errors did result from a minor fire that damaged what we have been told is the accessory wiring harness, that has since been repaired. Not much help locally as the closest dealer is 150 miles away. Thanks for any help in advance
Both of those codes are for voltage above b4.88v on the signal wire for each sensor. Usually indicates an open wire from the sensor to the VECU on the signal or ground circuits. Being those sensors do not share a ground I suspect the issue is the signal circuits. I suspect that your repair to the main wiring harness is not complete. Although there is a possibility it could be 2 bad sensors, that can be checked by swapping sensors/connectors.
That's kind of where we were as well, thus the need for a service manual to id the correct sensors to both swap and trace the wiring.
You can call your dealer to see if they can or will order you a manual but most of the service information is online and requires a subscription. The sensors should be located at the servo manifold by the MCV and should be labeled.
Thanks for the info..... yeah, the Dealership wasn't helpful at all.....direct comment..."that's a really old machine....." Was looking online for the manuals, but it's difficult to find a description that lets you know that you're actually getting the OEM information.
