today 3 hours after fueling the machine up I stopped working and drove out of the field . Idled the machine down got out and it sounded like it just ran out of fuel. checked the tank plenty of fuel . checked the fuel filter and it was empty . filled it up with fuel multiple times it will hit but not run . there is a silver {filter?** that the line from the tank goes to before going to the cat filter/water separator. is this silver thing a filter or a safety shut off? any help would be greatly appreciated my machine is blocking my drive way. please help!!!!!
make sure vent on fuel tank is not stopped up and creating vacuum on tank (lossen fuel cap) if this don't work. can you take the line loose after the (inline filter silver???) and see if you have fuel running out (must be below tank level) if you don't take loose before filter if no fuel maybe blow in line with air to make sure line is not plugged
If the silver filter has a wire coming out of it, itvery well could be your fuel pump. Not saying it is but I have seen the fuel pumps look like a small filter. If it is your fuel pump you should Be able to turn the key and go back to the motor and here if it's pumping, it should tick, or put your hand on it and see if its vibrating at all.
