I got a hold of an old 55-AG Michigan series 1 about a 60 to 62 model. Serial 2BC046. Both hydraulic pumps need to be rebuilt/replaced. The lift/dump is a Hydreco and don't know if that is the original or a replacement. Sent them an email asking for info but no response as of yet. Does anyone know the manufacture of the original pumps or pumps that would bolt up and don't require major hose work or where one can get a rebuild kit for the original pumps? Also need a manual that tells the types of fluids for the torque converter/transmission. Are the fluid types shown in the operators manual cause these can be gotten on line?? Thanks You can make anything fit with a cutting torch and a welder::usa
don't know much about Michigan loaders , but before putting a new pump i would drain and analyse your hydraulic oil , a bad pump may cause an hydraulic pollution,if your hydraulic fluid is bad it may cause damage to your new pump, valves, rams...
