Got a D8R at the site I am at now and having a issue. When you twist the handle to go from neutral to revers and forward it starts acting up. When going into forward sometimes it doesn't catch and you have to hold it forward in order to get it to engage. Sometimes it will click in and after a few seconds it pops back to neutral. Any help would be great. Thanks everyone!

If the F-N-R control itself doesn't feel "sloppy" when you twist it, it probably needs nothing more than the direction control cable adjusting. Once you get it into forward or reverse do the transmission speeds 1-2-3 shift OK both up and down the box..? Send me a PM with your e-mail address. I have the control cable installation & adjustment procedure sitting right in front of me. It would be worthwhile adjusting all the cables in the order that the procedure gives them, especially the parking brake. All the brake/transmission controls are interlinked and you really should not attempt to adjust a single one without doing the others - even though what they control may appear to be working fine.
