I don't mind them, but they do have their issues like all machines. The tightness of the front idler carriage that slides into the rail is sometimes pretty dang sloppy from the factory which causes a nasty clunking noise when the front comes down on the ground from going over top a bump or an object. Easily fixed via shimming with metal, then spot welding to keep the shim from dropping out...can do this from both sides of the tracks. The cab sits within a frame (typical new holland design brought over from the tire machines) and the waddling effect from the tracks makes the cab vibrate back and forth causing the wiring harness inside of it to rub and chafe, which quickly causes shorts and blown fuses. If you get one, I'd take the inside of the cab apart and wrap it with quality tape and use spray foam in places to keep the harness from walking around. I've padded between the frame and the cab on both sides with high density foam material. Seems to keep things from shifting as much. Like New HOlland skids, they have a lot of lifting power for their size/weight. Visibility is good. Been a while since I had one. Have run into others that have had good success out of their NH track machines.
