Hello all, Ive recently moved from Washington State to Arizona to start over and start a new career. My family and I moved here back in September and began working at the Caterpillar Proving Grounds in Green Valley, AZ. We test all the newest and coolest stuff Cat has in the works, most not seen by the public so its pretty confidential stuff. We mainly do testing and conversions on all of Cats biggest stuff, mainly large mining trucks like the 785, 793, and 797. We also test quarry trucks like the 775 and 777, shovels like the 6015 and 6040, blades like the 16M and 24M, and Dozers like the D10 and D11. Ive been a mechanic most of my career and have done operating as well. I am a certified backhoe operator for Cat but am looking for a second job as we speak to pursue more seat time and operate more. Happy to find this place! Derek
