Newbie from Beaumont, Alberta CA

Hi all, I am a recent newbie to this forum on a recommendation from Phill from South Eastern Ontario. Have already had a few questions and answers on my recent purchase of a 1985 Case 580SE. This machine is in need of a bunch of TLC. The previous owner appears not to have had much time for keeping it up. The expression "rode hard, and put away wet" about sums it up! Anyway I am having a time sorting thru all the issues, and it keeps me out of the wife`s hair (we are both retired now). It sure is great reading the experiences of others and enjoying the replys to questions. It must be said that the help given freely by members of the HEF is so rewarding to thoes of us who do have not have the knowledge or experience. A great place to have joined. Doug
