Have lift truck that over heats in just nearly an hr. New water pump Removed thermostat. Washed Radiator it. New belts. Runs up well over 220 an hear it boiling an bubbling. Hadn't checked for blown head gasket. That is on the to do list next.
Does it blow coolant or just get hot and boil? Does it hold the coolant if you only run it 40 minutes at a time? Did you clean the inside of the radiator, flush it, or change the coolant? How about temperatures of the coolant going to the radiator and coming back to the engine when it's 200 or hotter. Test the thermostat and put it back in.
It has a over flow tank. Sometimes it will push a lil coolant out into the bottle An at times you will hear the radiator cap whistleing steam Radiator in fact is clean inside as well as when it does run hot there is a differ in temps between the upper An lower hoses but both are still well over 200. I've tryed pure water an tryed a 50/50
