simple little project (repair the "little" drip) on the d6d for buddy barry has delayed my trip south to chase the ladies. buddy barry phone the cat place and had them rush the front seal and made sure there was a speedy sleave with it. when i opened the bus freight this morning and seen such a huge box i knew that was not the seal. plus those o-rings are not for the hydraulic hoses on the hard nose. does anyone have the o-ring number for the hoses from the hard nose to on top of the engine. plus what is the speed sleave number for the the seal i have. 5S6296 counting the days to chase southern ladies. thansk KoO Published Author
just a quick reply here because it has gotten worse. yes worse because we can't even get the right parts delivered. the cat dealer is 1200 kms in the south so buddy barry told him not to put the parts on the daily greyhound bus to lynn lake. he was told to put it on the airplane which we should have in 4 hours not 24 hours by ground transport. the parts guy screwed that up and missed the plane and the parts only made it half way to lynn lake. buddy barry found the parts and the lady at the airline assured him the parts would be in on the next plane. of course they were not on the next plane because she forgot but she has them now and will be on friday's plane. buddy barry politely asked her to take them to the bus and it will get here for sure. also he told her now you see why we don't use the plane service to lynn lake because it is run by a bunch of people who were not at the top of their class (ok not even in class). the bus depot called and said we have a package, so buddy barry went and picked it up and it was parts for the cat we didn't need right away. these parts were not put on an airplane market rush and prepaid. they left the south almost 12 hours after the important parts and we had them them 12 hours later. so the lesson learned on this is don't mark or get anything "rushed", tell the parts guy you don't need them right away and you will have them in 24 hours. sometime on friday i'll be leaving to travel all night to make the fun in the south and chase the southern ladies. only 4 days late which is not bad. that is why i never make plans because nothing works out. thansk KoO Published Author
