So the work in Ohio and surrounding area has been great, lots of crane work. I had been talking to some local company's about work and last week I finished up in Texas and came home to unpack and start my new gig with Maxim. First job out of the gate is refinery work. We start building the CC2800 on the 3rd.

Haven't heard from you in a while. How's the CC2800 mobe going? Love to see some pics! Thanks!

Curious! What is that coming out of the bottom of the cab (looks like a pipe with a 90 degree elbow) and seemingly connected to the boom butt section with a small wire? Could just be the picture! Thanks.

We had a couple large vessels on a refinery in Lima Ohio. Heaviest was 435,000 at a radius of 94'

Great pictures! What a rig. On your LMI computer, is the 37.9' the auxiliary counterweight radius? With how tight you are to the back,is that a fixed radius with slew angle built in? I am impressed with how "shoehorned "the crane and the load are.

drinking kinda heavy there?? LOL love the pics, Iv never had the the chance to get in the cab of a crane that big, way to many levers & buttons for me!!!

Took a 250T Mobile to build the rig because the crane could not track in or out of the hole it was in there was enough room to swing 360. The current config. On the screen is not for the superlift tray. this Demag is awesome. The lifts are a bit hecktic. 2 levers fot the sister block working boom and working assit mast simultaneously. And listening to signal person and the spotter for the tray UGH! And of course 50 saftey guys and bigwigs watching.

Got it! What was set up time? Was it just one pick? $$$$ for someone for sure. Thanks again and keep them coming!

Setup time? It's a refinery Took a full week to set up the rig. On the wind farms we could setup a 18000 with 300+ of main boom in a couple of days.

:tong I drink a lot of water over a 12 to 14 hour stay in the crane. All the levers and switches gauges and lights can be a bit intimidating at first, it does not take long to figure it out. It's also nice to have a company crane tech with 30 yrs in the seat and setting cranes up there with you the entire time. I'm very grateful to the company and my boss for giving me the opportunity to make these lifts.
