416C oil light staying on.the rpm gauge stopped about same time.seems to run fine.could rpm gauge goimg out cause my oil light to stay on.oil and filters have all been changed not long ago.i need to work it but afraid 2.any ideas what could cause it

    Have you checked for blown fuses.? Have you tested oil pressure by using a mechanical gauge.? If you want a complete electrical schematic for the machine please supply a Serial Number.

    I NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THE FUSE BOX IS. THAT WOULD BE A GOOD STARTING PLACE. AND WHERE THE RPM GAUGE GOES TO THE MOTOR

    See the attached for the fuse box details. Since this is from the Operation & Maintenance Manual I assume it's fair to say you don't have one. Search for Cat Publication SEBU6873, available online from Cat for $75 and most likely used copies in paper form on places such as eBay. Check your message inbox for a complete electrical schematic for the machine.

    is is there another fuse box besides one up top
