I have a case 580b and changer the pinion and ring gears cant get the pinion shaft rear bearing to seat right will not tighten up any help

    Is the pinion gear hitting on the ring gear not allowing it to seat?

    no the ring and all the parts are not in the case im just installing the pinion gear and shaft the bearing at the that u have to press on the back where the bolt goes will not seat the bearing inner is tight but the bearing needles are still loose
