I am fitting new wheel motors to my 2000 model 90XT the park brake assembly has a bleed nipple on the housing but I cant find any reference to it in the workshop manual, does anyone know if I am to have hydraulic oil running out of the bleed nipple before starting the machine? thanks if you can help.
I think you would start it,with wheels off the ground, release the park brake, then crack that bleeder and it should flush the air out of each brake.
The bleed nipple should not have any oil coming out of it. If oil is coming from there then your brake seals are leaking. Its actually a vent, but looks like a bleed screw.
