Does anyone have a suggestion for a parts source for an Hitachi ex55ur? Tried Hitachi - who replied that as it's a gray market machine they will have nothing to do with it. Haven't been able to locate an aftermarket one yet. Need a controller- part # 4379802 which is what is in the machine - replacement for the original # 4346065. Anybody have luck with a used one? (which I can not locate either) Does anyone know of a company which rebuilds them? I see there is no shortage of equipment problems/frustration out there. It's great to have this forum.

Thanks for responding. Yes, lower left image. Computer module under the seat. Has 3 plugs on one side. An LED indicator flush with bottom surface. Does that help?

Only seeing your post now so apologies for the delayed response. There are loads of hitachi suppliers on urparts.com so the next time you're looking for a part it's worth trying. Hope you got sorted out with your ex55ur.
