Hey all we fix one problem now theirs another so please help us out when we go to walk or dig the excavator bogs down to the point it almost stalls we think it might be fuel problem but unsure please help we have changed fuel filter blew threw the fuel line from the tank ran it with out air filter last time this happend we changed the air filters and it fixed it but we dont know now so please help thanks marshy
Only happens when travel is engaged on both sides simultaneously? What happens when bucket or stick is stalled out?
I almost stalls when walking and also then digging
Sounds like a fuel supply problem. Not sure about a 220, but I was working on a pc300 once and it had a plastic water separator on it between the fuel tank and the first fuel filter. The separator inlet became so clogged w/ debris from the tank that fuel could not get thru.
We have codes if anyone knows what they are 25 and 08
The 25 code says pressure sensor power source system. The pressure sensors make the two speed travel system work. The 08 code is short circuit in TVC solenoid system and is likely your problem. The wires are likely disconnected which could have happened when changing hoses or the solenoid itself is shorted through. There is a bypass switch in the cab under the glove box. When things are working correctly they are pushed toward the back of the machine. I believe the one on the boom side is the TVC bypass and if you move it towards the front of the machine and the solenoid isn't shorted it will keep the pump from pulling the engine down. If when you move the switch and nothing changes then you may have a wiring issue, computer issue or solenoid issue.
Hey mate our 2 travel speeds work fine why would that be showing for and how can we test the solinoid and is the solinoid at the rear right hand side near air cleaner thanks
Sorry rear left hand side
What about a code 80
The TVC solenoid is on the pump. There is no 80 code.
Haha yer my dad thought it said 80 but i had a look and i read 08 so was just making sure and with this solinoid can it get stuck in one place and how can we test it
Disconnect the harness connector at the solenoid. Use an ommeter on the wires going into the solenoid first making sure the thing isn't grounded out by touching a wire with one probe and to the outer case on the solenoid with the other. Should be infinite resistance. The touch the two wires in the harness connector with the ohmmeter probes. There should be a little resistance. As I recall there are only two allen head bolts holding the thing on so you can take the solenoid off, hook it back up to the harness connector and turn the key on. The plunger should come out.
hey mate we had a fiddle around with it today and seen it wasnt getting power too the solenoid so traced it bach and it goes a a 24 reducer and moved a couple of wires and we had power so i think it might be a loose earth but thanks for your help again buddy haha i remember u helped us last time thanks
