hello it me again im making a new post so people can help me with another problem, ok so on our excavator we are wonder were the stroke limiting valve or swash /valve plate is on the excavator please help ty
Those are internal hydraulic pump parts, right???
Those are directly controlled by servo valves on the pump. Pilot pressure on each side of the servos controls the amount of stroke which affect the total flow output of each pump. Why would you want to know this? What are the problems you are experiencing?
well the excavator bogs down with every movement and some people have said that that might be the problem like the valve plate sticking ???
You should probably go back to the basics first before thinking about the pump. Is the fuel strainer in the priming pump on the engine clean? When did you last change the fuel filter? Is the air filter plugged? When you know the engine is running right, then you can start checking items on the pump. Is the electrical connection to the solenoid on the pump making good contact? There is a bypass switch in the cab under the glove box at the back of the right side console. Does it make any difference which way the switches are set? If you look down on the side of the panel you will see two small tip out doors that have mirrors. If you look straight down on those mirrors you should see a red letter / number combination like S1 in the forward mirror and three diodes in the rear mirror. Those diodes are a green in the middle and reds on either side. Let us know what you observe and then we can move forward in troubleshooting your machine.
Sorry its taken so long to reply we had floods in our area we have checked everything u have said it makes no differnce which way the switches are in the cab. In the first mirror the first number is 08 next number is 52 then the next mirror has a single green led looks to be in the middle. We can only find 1 solenoid on the main pump and it only has 1 wire connected to it. But there is 2 wires coming out of the solinoid is this normal
The wire issue would be your problem. There are two wires from the computer that go into that solenoid. That solenoid controls the pump absorption horsepower by controlling pilot pressure to destroke the pump when the engine RPM drops because of load. When that solenoid is unhooked, the pump goes to maximum stroke which seems to be what your are describing.
omg thank u sooooo much mate we fixed it i just diddnt know what wires went were but we have got it now though ty sooo much again
