Anyone know what type of transmission fluid I should use in this super 6/ 6-33 Funk hydrostatic reverser? Thanks in advance.
Type 'A automatic transmission fluid. Fram PH8A filter, that's a common Ford oil filter, you might want to find a better grade of filter that will fit, or change the filter and oil more often. Hydraulic filters are usually a much finer filter than engine oil, but I suppose lots of automatic transmissions are out there with nothing but a screen, so it's probably fine. The filter is a few bucks though, so might as well change it every few years
