pictures from last season

now that i finally figured out how to get the pictures to the right size, heres some from last summer. this was the ferry ride to block island RI ,we were on rental for one of my bosses friends who paves in the southern part of the state. there was 17 of us , they were paving a couple of streets on the island.there were two ferrys running, the boat in the pictures was the bigger one.they could only take three at a time loaded but they would bring six back to the main land. it was the easyest 9 hrs i have ever had. Drive 1hr to asphalt plant ,1hr to the dock to get the ferry,3hrs waiting for my turn on the boat,1hr ride to island, 1hr wait to unload in paver, 1hr ride back to mainland finally 1 hr ride back to shop opcorn enjoy!!

Nice pic's! Those truck all look really nice. Does the company give you guys time to keep them cleaned up? So, I assume that you weren't using hot mix?

yep it was hot mix, it was only on the truck for 6 hrs,it was in the middle of august it was 80 degrees out.mix will still pretty hot all day in the summer time on the truck. most times one of the trucks is empty by 230/300 and we go back to the shop and wash. the trucks stay on the road 85% of the time during the summer so they don't get that dirty we have another pete ,but no pics he was on the other boat:beatsme

Must have taken forever to pave anything with cycle times like that. Nice looking trucks though. :thumbsup

    Nice looking trucks

every one just did one load, thats why there was 17 trucks hauling. everyone was spaced out so that no one waited more than a couple hours for a boat.

  15. #15jimmyjack2007-03-24 15:59

planning on going to p&g and burbes,i'll get some new pic soon going to put the drives side stack on

  16. #16sbrem2007-03-24 16:31

Cool, I plan to be at both shows as well. Just to look, not showing anything. None of the trucks I drive where I work are even remotely show worthy. I still haven't heard a date for the P&G show. Berubes is June 24th.
