plate compactor blowing oil out of the air breather

plate compactor is blowing oil out of the air breather and we dont know why. any ideals

    what kind of plate compactor is it? is it gas or diesel?

    im sorry its a honda 4 stroke gas jumping jack

    If you leave the gas valve on and drive around with it in a truck machine bucket the carburetor needle can let gas into the cylinder, around the piston and into the oil over flowing the oil level. I'd check the oil level or even change the oil so you know what you have in there and see if it helps. Also check your compression, if your rings are worn out and you lay it down when moving it or storing it the oil could seep around the rings and into the air filter. Hope that helps.
