Hey guys, So this all started with my little guy. He’s almost 3 and obsessed with excavators. So like any fiscally irresponsible dad I bought a 1ton kubota diesel powered mini. I was originally under the impression it was a k-008 but upon further review I don’t believe that to be accurate. Any help getting this thing identified would be greatly appreciated.
There should be a plate or sticker on it with information about the manufacturer, date, and weight. That might be found by the seat, in the engine compartment, or elsewhere. That machine lacks any kubota markings. I would not be surprised if it was an unidentifiable chinese import with a kubota engine. You can ask the seller about its history. You can trailer it to some dealers and ask if they know. Taking some pictures instead of the excavator to the dealers would be much easier.
