The mains set at 4300psi, tracks at 5000psi, swing 4500psi, boom 5000psi, stick 5000psi, bucket 5000psi and clam bucket 3600psi, clam rotation 2100psi. Hope this helps.

Dave, also your valves are called P22 which has a inlet block, right track, left track, speed limiter. The S15 valve has the main regulator, jib cylinder, swing, clam rotation, outlet plate. The S18 valve has the main regulator, boom, dipper stick, bucket/clamshell, and the selector end. There is a note that some of the lc80 were equiped with a parallal-feed type P22 valve without releif valves and makes notes the track motor controls should not be activated if either main regulators is locked. Also on notes if the S15 valve is used for boom cylinder control, pressure is set as follows, S15 main regulator 5700 psi and the boom relief valve on the S15 at 6400 psi.

Thanks for the info sheepfoot.I guess i should have asked earlier . My pump has given up & i just bought a pump on ebay, it puts out 50 gpm & 30 but only 2500 psi.I had no idea that old of a machine would be putting out 6400psi . Do you know what gpm are? or where i might find a good used pump or parts to rebuild mine.I have no info for this machine , but its a belt driven pump & seems to be a double pump possibly a piston style . Two intakes from the tank seems like the swing runs off the smaller pump, this is the worst pump has to be on level ground to swing . No idea what year this machine is but found a # 03s26 stamped just under the cab door & LC80 on what looked to be lube chart on inside of door, cant make out much else.

Dave, the pump is rated at 21+ 10.5 gpm at 2000 rpm. Did you see the note on the control valves in the post ? you will need to check the setup and see and record where each lever goes to on each valve section, if the boom is on the S18 then the mains are set to 4300 psi. Rapid Machinery in Va. should be able to help you with the pumps and more info. There is some other members on here also that have some Poclain background. We had several lc80 in my area about 25yrs ago, the last one i worked on was 1994.

I was not sure of the volumes ,so i thought the motor might be around 80hp = 80 gpm @ 1500psi should work . never thought that old of a machine had that high psi . I have not checked pressures but know pump is worn out because it is very slow on the boom , stick, bucket & travel. I guess the swing part of the pump is really bad as it will hardly swing and the output pressure line is vibrating as if its missing a piston. thanks again sheepfoot , i will try rapid machinery. I guess if i can find a double pump that puts out 25 gpm & 15 thats capable of 6500psi might work?
