I am looking at buying a used Positrack , how many working hours on the machine is too many ?

    That entirely depends on the quality of the hours put on the machines. The quantity, under say 3-5k (still depends) is significantly less important.

    Ok it has done 5800 hour but in good conditions

    That's a lot of hours on any CTL, make sure the deal is good enough to justify the risk.
