Working on putting batteries in a 943 and was wondering about which polarity does the first cable leaving the starter go to positive or negitive? Its had new ends put on cables so they may have put on the wrong way starting from the battery. I think it leaves the starter as postive then swithes back and forth for 24 volt . Thanks
If it’s 24V system, leaves the starter as positive, goes to positive post on battery, negative post on same battery goes to positive post on #2 battery, negative post on #2 battery connects to one side of master switch and other side of master connects to ground.
Thanks i was not thinking about it ending the neg on the starter ground. Ive got to redo some ends on cables
Is this illustration any use.? Actually both cables go to the starter in the first instance, but then there is another cable that goes from the starter to machine frame ground.
