That would be correct in a system that does not have a load sensing system. This pump can be used with conventional control valves the could also be used with a vane or gear pump by bottoming the ls adjustment and set the main pressure with spool valve activated. Of course por pressure should be set below control valve main relief pressures. If using in a load sense sytem the ls would be set as a pressure differential.
