i have a 300 bobcat. had a bolt come out from one of the pump drive. broke a chain. removed all the chaines and gears. question is. does it matter which way the chains are put back in. after installing I realized that I put it back together opposite.
Rotation of the chain won't cause any harm. Its mis-aligned sprockets/idlers that wears out chain...
