I have a pto ump on my truck for end dump trailer, got one line from tank to pump and return line from pump to tank, and from pump one line for trailer.Pump puts out 2000 psi.would like to also like to use it for a detach lowbed is that enough pressure,my machines weigh around 45,000 pds.And how can a person plum another line in for the lowbed, but also use it for dump trailer when needed.

The short answer is yes it can be done. LOL. Where is the valve that controls the dump trailer? on the trailer or on the truck? Is the valve that runs trailer part of the pump or is it separate?

The controls are in the truck its a Chelsea PTO and control for PTO is air and for lift and neutral and down is air operated to.Pump is a Parker.

I have a truck set up like that. I have cab controlled dump/pump pto valve (air). When hooking to my two line trailer, I have the line that "returns" from the trailer, return directly to tank, on a dedicated line. I just flip my pto/ dump lever to raise, it puts out pressure just like its running a dump cylinder, and the oil that returns from the trailer goes direct to tank. If it was on a dump trailer, I would just hook up the single "pressure" line from the pump, and it would return back through the pump to tank- like yours does now. You wouldn't hook any line too the "return" line that is on the tank that you use on your two line trailer.

Yep, Just like Crane Operator said. If your valve was located on the trailer it would be different.

When i use my end dump when it comes to the end of the cylinder it puts strain on the pump and i kick it in to neutral scared of blowing something up LOL.So do detach trailers have a bypass valve so when you put it in gear and in lift position it dosn't dead end the oil.? Controls for detach lowbed are on the trailer.

If it's open center, it should have a tank return.
