Can anyone tell me what the rod coming up through the floor panels in front of the brake is? By the cut-our in the floor it looks to move side to side. I'm guseesing it has something to do with the parking brake? It's a 1980 International. Thanks you, Dan
IH used a ratchet and pawl to hold the brake depressed for parking.That rod may be the pawl.Ron G
