I've got a Cat 246d skid that has a spacer bolted on to the boom stop. I added OTT and it made the bucket not sit flush with the ground. I removed the spacers and the bucket now sits flush again. I just want to double check that what I did is okay. Everything is clear from rub. Not sure why the spacer was on there to begin with. Is it a safety measure used by the dealer(machine was a dealer rental) to keep people from tearing up the bucket by putting too much down pressure on it? TIA
