Hi This may be too extreme a repair, but for the record here it is: one of the little copper tabs broke off from the connector on the back of the instrument cluster on my Case 580 SE, this might be applicable to other machines as well. To repair it I found that the adhesive backed copper foil tape used in the hobby/craft of stained glass is the perfect thickness. The sticky back holds it in place while a quick hit with a soldering iron makes the electrical connection. 1-2” of the copper tape is all that’s needed but it comes in 100’ rolls for $7.
