Will worn sprockets/tracks cause a rough ride on a rubber tracked mini excavator? Sprockets are nearly worn to a point. Hitachi 27u-2. Thanks!
Good day Josh Normally a rough ride is associated with bottom rollers spacing or uneven wear unless you reference is to jumping the teeth I would be inclined to look hard at the rollers. Inevitably those worn parts need to be replaced. Kind regards Uffex
Customer brought in a Zaxis50-U, roughest riding excavator I've been in. Customer installed skid steer tracks on it so the spacing of the metal bars that engage with the sprocket are just a bit off. Your sprockets are pretty worn IMO so you may have the equivalent problem.
I had old tracks on a bobcat 323, they finally blew, and I bought new ones and put them on, and the machine rode like a cadillac....new tracks were a huge difference
