Wondering if it's possible use my Case 580K's extendahoe hydraulics with a Stanley Hoe Pac plate compactor. Anyone done this? If so, how hard is it to hook up, and what parts/fittings are needed? From the Case 580K promotional materials:
No idea, but I'm curious how one would go about it. Couldnt you just run it off the one way aux system? The conqutec aux lines on the boom.
Unless I am missing something, it is curious that the picture you have shows the guy installing the lock pin on a machine that does not have the auxiliary tubes installed. See picture below from my SK that has the Case aux tubes on it. Reference the Case parts website link below for parts required on the Case side. I don’t have knowledge of the Stanley side. http://partstore.casece.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::mr54946ar1098278bi4396835-23 You need to add parts 23..30 if you don’t already have them. The tubes 24 and 25 give you the auxiliary connection points, one on each side of the hoe. You can install quick disconnects on these points, or manually run hoses to your compatible implement.
We cut the extendahoe hoses, put couplers on both cut ends both hoses and plugged em back together, one set of same couplers on Ho-pac hoses and your good to go! Lock the extendahoe, uncouple the couplers and plug the ho-pac in and vibbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrate to your hearts content!
apetad- so that would look something like this? I suppose one could use brackets like the case parts to keep things from banging around... fpgm04- do you have a valve to switch from extendahoe hydraulics to accessory hydraulics with that setup? Thanks, Gavin
Exactly like that
DualsportWA, In reply to your question, there is no valve on the factory setup. Just the parts referenced from the Case part website link in post 3. One thought if you tie into the Ehoe hoses. Beside retaining the coupler hoses from banging around and snaging, when you have your Stanley equipment installed, there will have to be a way to securely retain the Ehoe cylinder hoses. If you T off of the tubing like the factory setup, this issue will not occur as the Ehoe hoses are never disconnected.
That sounds like a MUCH better way to do it!
