I have a bobcat S185 and the lift pedal wants to hang in the lowering position. It works fine in float, but in regular use it wants to stay in lowering position. What happens is when you are wanting to lower the lift, and let off the pedal, It wants to hang in the lowering position. You can release it by applying very light pressure to the back of the pedal. I have checked the linkage and it is free. I checked the spool valve for free movement in the valve body and it seems to be free. Any body have any idea what might be the problem ? Thanks!
the detent bonnet may be loose on the back of the valve, or possible some rust isues in the detent itself :drinkup
