Samsung SE210LC-2 hydraulic diagram / workshop manual

Hey guys, Trying to repair a customer's older Samsung SE210LC-2 excavator. Just hoping at the off chance that someone here might have access to hydraulic diagram or workshop manual. It has a shibuara u28-103 main control valve. I have a parts book but only helps me so far for the right orientation for pilot lines and valving. Customer previous employee removed main control valve to flush after a bucket cylinder grenaded. It's possible there is a pilot line not correct as pump 2 (outside)does not have pilot pressure to destroke (kawasaki kv3 pumps) and very little flow out of port to that pumps regulator. Pump therefore constantly makes pressure. I have pulled out quite a number of valves I believe relating to pilot system and appear to be okay and correct orientation. Any input would be helpful. Cheers

These Korean made excavators were a good all round machine and was acquired by Volvo back in the late 90s early 2000 era. Tracking down workshop manuals and schematics for these old work horses may be quite difficult but hopefully you should be able to get Volvo EC210 schematics and manuals that you can use.

It's seems a good old machine, track gear and in general been well looked after. Its a pain not much out there. We have a diagram to a SE210LC-3 but it a newer/ different main control valve and think the volvo EC210 will be the same.

Hi Lagwagon, Thank you very much for that it should point us in the right direction. Does the manual have any cross sectional views of the main control valve by any chance?

Yes I do but it’s Not letting me post it for some reason , I’ll try again later. The pump in question feeds arm and swing, is there any movement in these functions at all? Any noise form the pump when you pull one of these functions?

Thanks a heap again you are a legend, that gives me alot more to go off. Is very hard to identify port numbers when hanging upside down haha. Both functions are working but arm loads up the machine and will stall it out. Pump/s doesn't make any more noise as constantly making pressure. A theory I have at the moment is that logic valve 'b' is not opening properly and possibly why pressure is always high and next to no pressure and flow out of fL port to destroke the pump. This could be from a pilot line not hooked up correctly and not bleeding the logic valves spring chamber. Will confirm more with what I find.

Bugger, I’m over west, bit far to drive

It is abit but still in Vic which is closer than thought information would be. So found the issue today. The 'b' logic valve was trapped closed cause the spring cavity behind it could not be relaxed to tank. Culprit was the wrong boom spool. Can see in photo has a cut out at end of spool where the flow goes while machine in in neutral. Thank again Lagwagon having the diagram sped this process up a lot.

Good to hear you got to the bottom of it. So if I’m getting you right, the person that put the MCV back together got 2 x spools back to front? What spool was in the boom port?

  14. #14inmans122024-06-14 03:55

Yeah we were happy to find it. Yeah unfortunately an old employee had two in wrong place the the boom spool was in option slice and vice versed. Option spool obviously doesn't have the cut out section at the end for the pilot line signal to travel/ drain off.
