I have a Genie GS1930 scissor lift,when I lower the platform it stops 4 feet from the bottom,then I have to release the control lever and then pull it again to get it down all the way,same thing with the switch on the bottom.
is it the delayed decent. try let it down from basket when it stops let go of lever wait 30 seconds and pull joystick again to decend
Sounds like it's the descent delay. Purposely programmed that way. What is the serial number? Can walk you through disabling it if you wish.
