I had a recruiter call me the other day and he has a position available as a site estimator with a medium sized site contractor. He asked how much id be looking to make and I had mentioned about 90,000 a yr plus a company truck. Is that reasonable? I have 8 yrs estimating experience and feel I am underpaid now at 70,000 a yr and no truck. I have estimated 10,000 dollar jobs to 15 million dollar jobs. I know I should be grateful for having a job but on the last job I made over 15% profit and the owner isnt sharing or atleast saying your doing a good job.
