Does anyone know how to seal the long hydraulic cylinder under the boom of a skytrak 10054 ? I assume we need to pull the piston forward, without removing the entire cylinder tube.. Thanks to all
Disconnect cylinder pin on end. Unthread cylinder end cap and slowly push out with hydraulic controls?
Disconnected the pin, removed the end cap, released the 2 hyd lines , then pulled the ram with a chainfall. Now we need to undo the big nut at the end in order to replace the packing seals. So far, its been like baby steps, but moving forward, thanks!
