The most strange machine I have ever seeing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1mZcpEz1KY
Truck driver could have helped him out a bit.
That's an amphibex built in Quebec, Canada the government owns three or four of them and uses them at the end of winter just when things start warming up to break up river ice which can be over a metre thick in an effort to prevent ice jams. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfI_KdjQaA0 Often they use a smaller machine with a special router tool or a saw to cut the ice up into 'blocks' and then the amphibex's drag themselves onto the ice and break it with the shear weight of the machine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJmO4-IQOPQ
