whoever treated that bucket that way should be forced to load haul trucks for a month with a pine handled excavator, 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Then he/she will appreciate their equipment more.
The quick disconnect you mean? You never know it could have been a weak weld etc, it's not always operator abuse that breaks things.
Look at the bucket in the background. The shanks are ate plum off. I agree completely with stumpjumper
Those look like the Komatsu KVX (sp?) tooth system to me, not normal shanks. the teeth are 16-18 inches long, and are reversible, and bolt to the bottom of the cutting edge. link: http://www.kvx.no/newsread/news.asp?wce=news&n=5010&d=1&l=2
looks like abuse all the way around..... that PC 4 something has moved more material with its tail than it has the bucket
to the best of my knowledge it a 450-6 that has spent it life in a hole (very limited space ) so dont judge until you have worked in their shoes
