Hello! Having read the thread about stall tests for Case backhoes: HeavyEquipmentForums I was wondering whether there might exist a similar testing procedure for the Ford 655 backhoe? (Or other ways to assess the working condition of the converter and hydraulic system) Thanks in advance!
according to the service manual, My 555 converter stall speed is 2200 or so rpm, Put the machine in highest gear, hold the brakes and put the foot throttle to the floor. Your max rpm is your stall speed.
