I've never ran a LGP machine. I am looking around at dozers & am wondering what would suit me best. Looking at D4-5G , 550-650 Deeres. I do small road or driveway building & small site prep, houses, shops etc. Any advice is appreciated.
I like the LGP's. In Arkansas you can work about 365 days a year in the hills where there is a little clay underneath you. You also get a horsepower bump with a LGP. I like the 450J with wide pads myself. It's easy to find a pretty good one and they are usually a lot cheaper than a 650.
