i have a bob cat 425 excavator the thing will start but then dies i was thinking it may be the soleniod on the back of the injector pump i fooled with wires unpluged it to see if it was dirty plugged it back in now it wont start at all all my fuses are good and it has no code any ideas would really be apperciated
Maybe a picture of the injection pump, or engine or the engine model would help get more advice. I wouldn't have any idea what engine a bobcat 425 has in it, and even if I knew the engine model, what really matters is what type of injection pump. Also, do you have any history on this? did it just start doing this? anything unusual done before the start of the problem? or did the machine come to you like this?

if it has the old style fuel solenoid on it (has a jumper harness from the solenoid to the flat 3 wire connector on the engine harness) buy a new solenoid bobcat changed them many years ago, they didnt work very well. the jumper harness to solenoid connector was the problem, the terminals would get varnished up and stop making contact
