Hi ! I was looking at a stone slinger truck and wondered what kind of job these machine are made for , do they use it to fill up forms with stone , or are they used to put stones on embankment or what is there purpous .
great for putting stone in foundations you cann't get near.
Around here, they use them to toss decorative crushed stone of various small sizes on freeway embankments where it's too steep to put a dozer or a blade. They actually do a pretty good job as a skilled operator can put the stone down with little extra labor needed to smooth it out afterwards. The stone can also be thrown around headwalls and vegetation easily without damage to either one. They are similar to a "Creter-Crane" if you have ever seen or been around one.
