The angle blade is nice for fine grading large areas, but I prefer the straight tilt blade for general purpose work. Straight tilt blade is better for penetrating when ground is harder. Easier to transport too. I have noticed in western Canada it seems the angle blades are more prevalent for some reason.

usally in the spring not to much bout 6 miles unless we get lots of snow.Lots of ditching going on tree clearing so water comes faster and more of it.

There were lots of angle blades around our way before. Straight blades have become more common. We had a 16 foot angle blade on our D6R LGP. Went back to a straight blade. We like it way better. Less maintience and fixing. Way better for bush work as the blade is closer to the front of the cat.
