Hey guys, i have a sullair 210H compressor at work that I'm having some air end oil issues with. Also having similar issues with our 185. They keep spitting out compressor oil! Our guys are running jack hammers, "hole hogs", and are pressure testing gas lines to about 160 psi. The hole hogs are for underground boring and run about 140psi. Since this season started there have been multiple complaints about oil getting into air lines etc. So far i have replaced oil separator elements and cleaned oil separator suction screens as well as change compressor oils and filters. The oil suction tubes in the separator are in adjustment as well. We are not running any flow limiting devices which i beleive is where our problems lie. Am i missing anything? It seems like every time they run these I hear about oil issues. There was one instance where we found that the air end intake air filter had oil dripping out out it. It was soaked! The separator element was also saturated at this time. Any imput is helpful. Thanks!
Did a google search on trouble shooting Sullair compressors and found this: Oil in compressed air Oil in compressed air can have various causes: Oil separator old / saturated Scavenge line plugged Too high running temperature Too high oil level Wrong type of oil used Minimum pressure valve not working This is from this site: http://www.air-compressor-guide.com...ing/screw-air-compressor-troubleshooting-faq/
